very seldom do i actually intend to write a post whereby it is supposed to be understood. but. i had a very peculiar dream last night. -ok fine, so they are all peculiar, wonka and all, but this is importantly peculiar!-
and it just so coincides with some of my friends’ states of mind recently, most probably because the year is drawing to an end, and like it or not, we are drawn to the state of reflection. but before i say what the dream was, i’ll just continue with what i intended to say. oh and before that,
sorry for not turning up yet again last thursday.
for a very strange reason or so, i still am not used to IB. nothing to do with the people there, but you might think for me having spending a good large portion of my-every-day-save-sunday there, i would get used to it after a year. i thought i would, but by the time june came i realised it wouldn’t. i guess one year, or two by the end of next year, will never make up for the 10 sodding years that taught even the characteristics healthy poo.
maybe, its because the walls of IB are just too angular, too sterile to ever roll and bounce on.
i remember mondays were everyone-run-for-nasi-lemak days; tues to thurs i would devotingly patronise the best yong tau foo stall on earth; fridays were fried rice plus crabstick days.
and because, i am never the one to say alot of heartwrenchingly sentimental things, i will end off this post with the dream. see, i was walking along somewhere, with some person I don’t remember. because it doesn’t matter. what matters more, is what this person said.
“hey you know, i always thought the crapbags were one of the best groups of friends MG ever had.”
Beethoven has a way of expressing every perspective, angle of welded emotion so finely that you can just drown in it. Every, single, ludicrous cell in your body down and under the styrofoam waves of its siren charm; no wonder they named that dog after him.
In other news, ..my pikachu is better than yours! Haha.
You look before you leap. You’re the understatement of the year, and for that you should get an award, or at least the honorable mention that never existed. You take a step back, because the erratic beating of what you’ve come to know as your heart tells you that you are scared. Scared of not just the uncertain, but strangely to a greater extent, the certainty that there will be change. You’ve been taught to believe change is bad, safety is vital. But your face refuses to show any trace of cowardice, you force the placid contortion on each muscle that might give away your secret. Everything that surrounds seems to have gone into a stalemate with you, watching your every move as though the many rows of belligerent chairs had eyes which lacked the mercy you seeked. The floodlights of the stadium you face are much too bright for you to see what is before you, and you breathe in, in well crafted anxiety. Perhaps it is better that way, you think to yourself, and you close your eyes only to immerse yourself in a blanket of darkness – and much needed peace. Yes, better indeed.
and because it is your very special day, you will now assume the position of being the most special person ever just for today (i know, you’re welcome ..ok, joking), i will make a quick exception to operations examinations just to write a special something, for the most special non- black and white endangered animal ever.
to you: happy birthday. you are honestly extraordinarily cool, as cool as tofu, and though it did make me feel rather stupid bouncing off your school’s canteen walls with fat cat, it really is quite good to see you again. you light up my life! no just kidding (: but you certainly do bring out the retard in me, as you always have throughout s234, and for the many laughs (“hahaha, wait let me breathe before i laugh again”; “idiot la you!”) and brainless yet chivalrous quests (eh let’s go complain about jtay!) and goodness knows what else (let’s recite geography on msn – see who reaches the end first!), you’ve always been there to put a smile on my face. i honestly thank God for a person like you, and though we don’t talk very often nowadays due to a whole lot of stuff, you still know that no matter what, i am here for you (:
as you love to say,
peace! – the little soviet chicken. now enough of that, go mug your lit! haha
