..and that’s the peter panda dance!

June 24, 2007

hello panda! this shall be in response to the extremely nice tribute you wrote for me cos i asked you to hee hee, this is like we are both dying and are writing each other’s tributes cos no one else wants to praise us cos only we know just how awesome we are, right right? hee!

you have truly been one of my bestest, coolest friends in my relatively short yet at times seemingly long life. i have not yet come across anyone else who tolerates my sudden and extremely rare bursts of insanity and in fact joins me in my quest for destress by bouncing off the back walls of the class rooms, making extreme – to the extent it simply is significantly amusing – determination to beat me at sushi buffets, making plans to take over the world – ok, you can have disneyland, but i want the alice in wonderland spinning cups thing -, oh and how we wanted to cycle to nepal, and oh oh and remember how we recited bio, and other stuff (i strangely recall geog, haha) on msn for millions of years -

i think we are such cool people, disney would have to be insane to not pass ownership down to us, seriously. i want ice cream

stand up and shout it if you love my Jesus!

remember this?

His love is warmer than the warmest sunshine, softer than a sigh
His love is deeper than the deepest ocean, wider than the sky
His love is brighter than the brightest star, that shines every night above
and there is nothing you can do that can ever change His love (:

(edit)
the past two weeks have been relatively interesting, in fact the whole of june has. i could try summing it up in one sentence, or one paragraph, or if i ever found enough energy to do so, loads of paragraphs but of course that will never happen, simply because i guess no words can truly embody the volumes – that is, if june was ever to be archived in literary* (this is proof chem cooked my brains ): ) ways – of the experiences, and i suppose even attempting to do so would be futile. energy is precious resource, why waste! haha

that aside, it basically goes to show i had encountered rather amazing experiences in june, and no i am not geek enough to stamp mugging marathons as amazing so you may relax, but instead i have, for example, saw how the world could be encaptured in photography, encased in old black and white film; discovered (or re-discovered, depends on how you want to look at it) the love of indie recordings; libraries where the wonders of world unravels in much embraced solitude, word by word; and playgrounds. go figure, good luck and -

happy mugging.
i bet the milo industry’s making millions

peanut butter cookies and teh ping

June 6, 2007

i’ve noticed its been almost a month since my last post. hopefully, this post goes through. i really must try and put some sort of disclaimer at the start of every post i attempt to write, about 70% of the time they never really do experience the click of the ‘publish’ button.

i indeed have alot of things i can write about. i could write of course about the exhaustion that led to the inevitable flu after going for oep, bb camp and council camp, one after another, that would of course be expected. but i could also write about how my mother bought my favourite digestive biscuits for me; coffee made fresh in the mornings; tiny birthday cards dated from 03; butterflies that seem to now be everywhere; the mochi in my mouth; the 156 bus that finally came; the wind blowing the dandelion fluffs far away; the pen and book that i’ll always have to write on; the blanket i can use to take me to an igloo in the north pole; the cheering; the rings of delicate white the cereal makes in the milk; the piano in the not so empty auditorium and the friends you appreciate who are there; the sound of tomorrow when the cars start passing by; the smell of peanut butter on fresh toast; eyes’ technicolour; the vibration of the silent phone; the rain – thank You Lord.

after all, there is goodness in the little things.
